5Great Mold for Crayon Brains!!Jun 18, 2012
By J. Lockett-Joiner "o-captain"
I bought this to make brains as counters for a game we play called Zombie Dice. I got the idea when a friend of mine posted that she had a bunch of old crayons. What a great idea!! The mold works really well and the crayons never stick. Have not had a problem with the mold cracking or anything. Easy to clean. Ordering another one because I want to be able to several colors at once. :-)

4Great for Halloween candy-making!Nov 02, 2009
By Katie
This candy mold is great for Halloween candy! I made chocolate brains with raspberry filling - so they bled red juice when you bit them! Really simple to use molds and durable - I didn't know how hard to whack them on the counter to release the candy once they had set. Luckily the molds even held up to my over-exuberance!

3Neat idea, not great quality.Jul 20, 2010

Great as molds, but not very durable. Cracked one brain mold the first use just by gently bending the sheet. I frequently use plastic molds, and a slight bend shouldn't make the plastic crack. Won't hold up if one uses the "quick freeze" method to release candy/chocolate. I suggest greasing up the molds very well (cooking spray works wonders) and being extremely cautious when releasing candy.

5Braaaaains!!! Yum....Jan 07, 2013

Zombies are all the rage now it seems so why not jump on the wagon and feed people brains! I love the little brains you can make using Wiltons candies, or jello gummies (green makes it look really neat but watermelon jello looks the light pink like a real brain).

I put little pink candies on top of cake pops for Halloween and drizzled pink brain juice down them too. Tasted great! Looked gross...so mission accomplished!
